Yoga During Infertility Treatment

An article published in Fertility and Sterility Journal in October of 2003 suggests that women going through  infertility treatments should try yoga.    The article says that the practice of yoga which includes meditation and deep relaxation can help women go through the stress of conventional infertility treatments.

One of the common things that I notice in my patients who are having trouble conceiving is inadequate diet.   Because of the fear of becoming overweight or because we have been brain washed that all fats are bad for us, more and more women are consuming foods low in protein and fats but unfortunately high in sugar and processed ingredients.  Salads and fruits are great additions to a healthy diet but they should not constitute the diet itself.   On a daily basis, I encounter patients who are very slim, fatigued, …

Femoral massage is a simple technique that can help increase the blood flow to the uterus and ovaries and therefore increase your chances of conception.  Anytime you increase blood flow to a particular organ you increase its function.
Directions
It’s easier to perform femoral massage if somebody else does it for you.  However, it is possible to do it alone as well.  If you are planning to do it alone, I recommend that you use a tennis ball instead of using your hands and lay on your abdomen instead of laying face …

Acupuncture and IVF
